Background: Sebastian Acosta is the youngest of the Argentine born Acosta brothers. Sebastian is the clubs all-time top scorer. He joined the club at the age of 19 and quickly displayed his amazing scoring ability. In an 8 a side match he scored 5 goals while being defended by ex Metro Star defender Mark Semioli. In his first season in the CSL he scored 19 goals which is still a club record. He was a vital key to the success of the 2005-2006 CSL Metro 2 champion team. He was featured in the online mag www.firsttouchonline.com for his prolific scoring that season. He also hasn't been the same player for Sporting since the 2006-2007 season only making a handful of appearances for the club since then. He officially left the club at the end of the 2009-2010 season after only one appearance.
